Supreme Court intro: All Rise for the Honorable Justices of the Supreme Court
Federal Court intro: All Rise for the Honorable Judge [name]
(Wait for all parties, and members of the gallery to rise).
Ladies and gentlemen, this court is now in session.
Today, we will be hearing the case (docket #), (plaintiff) vs. (defendant).
The case is described by both parties, and the court as follows;
[ The Plaintiff Is suing the defence for swearing and being abusive. The Defence claims he didn't. This Occurred at the 'White House' Owned By 'BigTits' At 3:30 GMT PM 1990
The court asks that all members attending remain respectful throughout the trial.
We would like to remind you to remain silent throughout the trial, unless addressed.
Again, failure to abide by this simple protocol will result in charges.
Thank you, please be seated.
(Wait a few seconds for all to sit)

(--Guilty or Not Guilty--)
May the Defendant stand.
(Wait for the defendant to stand.)
How do you plead?
(Wait for either "Guilty" or "Not Guilty")
If "Guilty", then the defendant is accused of all charges.
If "Not Guilty", then tell the defendant to be seated and continue with the following steps:

Opening Statements
Does the prosecution wish to present an opening statement at this time?
(If they approve, let them continue. If they deny, move on to the Defense.)
Please proceed.
(This is where the Prosecution goes through their Opening Statement. Wait for them to finish, or for three objections to be sustained during it.)
Thank you prosecution, you may be seated.
(Wait for the Prosecution to be seated.)
Does the defense wish to present an opening statement at this time?
(If they approve, let them continue. If they deny, move on to the Evidence.)

Accepting/Denying Evidence
(After each piece of evidence, you will be required to allow/deny it as accepted into the court of law.)
This evidence will be accepted into this court of law, hereafter labelled Exhibit (I, II, III etc.)
(The above statement is to be used if the evidence is valid, and has no sustained objections.)
The evidence will NOT be accepted into the court as evidence, next piece please.
(The above statement is to be used if the evidence is NOT valid, and has sustained objections or is not seen as valid evidence by the judge(s) ).

Objections
(If at anytime during the evidence presentation, or examination of witnesses the attorney objects, proceed with the following).
(Note: If objections are called on Opening/Closing Statements, 3 can be sustained before the Attorney must be seated.)
On what grounds?
(Wait for the Attorney to tell the grounds on which the objection was called).
Rise and explain.
(Once the attorney has explained the reason for calling the objection, you must rule on the objection.)
(If you believe the objection is legitimate, say the following;)
Objection Sustained.
(If the Attorney has another piece of evidence/another witness, tell them to move on to the next piece. If the Attorney does NOT have another piece of evidence/another witness, tell both parties to be seated. If you believe the objection is irrelevant, or is not right, say the following;)
Objection Overruled. (Reason being [ie. Wrong Grounds, etc].)

Witnesses
(Note: If witnesses are not mentioned in the Attorney’s Opening Statement, do not ask them to present any witnesses.)
Does the prosecution wish to present any witnesses to the court?
(If they approve, let them continue. If they deny, move on to the Defense.)
Would the witness please raise their right hand?
(Wait for the witness to wave.)
Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?
(If the witness takes the oath, they may continue. If they do not take the oath, they can not take the stand. They will be sent back to their party’s table.)
The witness may take the stand, and you may proceed with examination.
(Wait for prosecution to rest his examination.)
Does the defense wish to cross-examine the witness?
(If they approve, let them continue. If they deny, move on to the next witness the Prosecution has[if the prosecution has more than one witness]/Defense wishes to question.)
Please proceed.
(Allow the defense to cross-examine, until they are finished.)
The witness may exit the stand.
(Repeat for all prosecution witnesses, until the prosecution rests.)
Does the defense wish to present any witnesses to the court?
(If they approve, ask the witness to raise their hand. If they deny, move on to Closing Statements.)
Would the witness please raise their right hand?
(Wait for the witness to wave.)
Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?
(If the witness takes the oath, they may take the stand. If they refuse to take the oath, they must return to their party’s table.)
The witness may take the stand, and you may proceed with examination
(Wait for the defense to rest their examination.)
Does the prosecution wish to cross-examine the witness?
(If they approve, let the cross-examination commence. If they deny, The defense may continue with their next witness. If the defense has no other witnesses, move on to Closing Statements.)
Please proceed.
(Allow the prosecution to go about their cross-examination until they finish.)
The witness may exit the stand.
(Repeat for all defense witnesses, until the defense rests.)

Closing Statements
(Wait for both parties to be seated, and to let the court pause for a moment.)
Does the prosecution wish to present a closing statement to the court?
(If they approve, let them continue. If they deny, move on to the Defense.)
Please proceed.
(Wait for the Prosecution to rest.)
Thank you, you may be seated.
Does the defense wish to present a closing statement to the court?
(If they approve, let them continue. If they deny, move on to the Verdict.)
Please proceed.
(Wait for the Defense to rest.)

Verdict
Supreme Court verdict: Ladies and gentlemen, myself, and my fellow justices will now leave the courtroom to deliberate our verdict.
We ask you to remain in the same mood of respect, and to be reminded of the atmosphere of the courtroom.
Federal Court verdict: Ladies and gentlemen, the jury will now leave the courtroom to deliberate the verdict.
(leave the room, and deliberate with other justices.)
(If you are in a Mock Trial, and there are no jurors/justices, do not leave the courtroom. Stay seated and continue on to the delivery of the Verdict.)
(Once you are done deliberating, return to the courtroom.)
All rise for the delivery of the verdict.
We find the defense (guilty/not guilty) of all charges. (Explain your reasoning.)
